​Dave Zaboski has been drawing for more lifetimes than he can remember. In this one he’s been a Senior Animator with Disney, Sony and Warner Bros., working on contemporary classics such as Beauty and the Beast, the Lion King, Pocahontas, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Hercules, Tarzan, The Emperor’s New Groove and Fantasia 2000.



He is a classically trained painter and illustrator and has co-created several national children’s books including titles for such luminaries as Dr. Ken and Maddy Dychtwald, Dr. Deepak Chopra and Paul Michael Glaser. He has created concept art for film and game projects and teaches creativity and innovation as a public speaker.

In 2009 he met an enlightened master from India who pulled him out of a crowd because of the mystical drawings in his sketchbook and on the spot invited him to India to further his studies of energy and art. That spiritual teacher gave him the name Vishvakarma- Architect of the Universe. Vishvakarma is the divine being who designs the beauty of the heavens and it is this name that Dave occasionally uses as an artist to call into form the images from his highest self. His divinely inspired work brings the heavens into being and through his line and color the gods come to dance in his intricate works on both digital and traditional canvases.

Vishva, as his friends call him, lives with his wife Chandra, their daughter Grace and a small menagerie on a ranchette in Southern California. He paints and draws daily and shows his work internationally.
